Each year on the evenings of December 23rd and 24th, Mernda CFA spreads the Christmas cheer with the assistance of the big guy in red – Santa. Once again in 2023, we will be joined by our friends at Whittlesea SES.
On each evening, we visit a number of parks around Mernda and give our local families the opportunity to see Santa and get some Christmas goodies.

Usually, we split the two evenings as below:
– Estates located SOUTH of Bridge Inn Road Santa are visited on 23rd December.
– Estates located NORTH of Bridge Inn Road Santa are visited on 24th December..
Where will we be and when?
Saturday, 23rd December (Mernda South)
Sunday, 24th December (Mernda North)
The area North of Bridge Inn Road and East of Plenty Road will have a roaming Santa starting at the top of Schotters Road and heading South between 6pm and 8pm.
Come along and see Santa and his firefighter & SES helpers. Donations on the night are always welcome and appreciated.
